This past weekend flash floods and storms hit parts of western Nevada, northern Arizona, and Death Valley National Park causing severe damage to the park’s infrastructure. Roads in and out of the national park were closed after they were ruined due to the flooding and winds produced by the storm. According to the National Weather Service, in just 15 minutes on Sunday, an inch of rain fell near Kingman, Arizona.

There has been no announcement of when the roads are expected to reopen.
